캐나다 생활 영어 시험 ‘셀핍(CELPIP). 이제 영주권, 시민권 언어능력 증명 점수뿐만 아니라 캐나다 주요 자격증 신청시 영어점수 제출용으로 제출할 수 있게 됐습니다. 살아있는 캐나다 생활영어도 배우고 영주권은 물론 자격증까지 유용한 영어시험이라면 공부할 만하지 않을까요?
여기서 주요 자격증이라 하면 부동산 중개인, 이민 컨설턴트, 헬스케어 관련직종 등 웬만한 자격증은 이제 샐핍 점수 7점만 내면 됩니다. (12점 만점에서 7점 이상, 영주권은 보통 5점 이상을 요구하는 경우가 많습니다) 리스닝, 스피킹, 리딩, 라이팅 4가지 영역에서 모두 7점 이상 나와야 한다는 것이 유의할 대목입니다.

최근에 셀핍의 라이팅 Task 2에서 여론조사 뿐 아니라 에세이 형식의 문제가 가끔씩 출제되고 있습니다. 다음은 에세이 형식의 문제가 나올 때 도입부로 쓰기 좋은 표현들이니까 잘 익혀두세요.
참고로 에세이 문제에 나올 수 있는 수준의 질문들이니까 한 번 써 보셔도 좋을 것 같습니다.
